We’re finally in October!
This is hands down my favorite time of the year. The weather is changing, scary movies everywhere & pumpkin everything (yes I’m basic like that).
Halloween is also Lyla’s “birthday” and I can’t believe that means she’s about to be 3! There is a doggy bday party involved with puppy ice cream and costumes…
This past week I’ve been at maintenance level calories because I needed a break from eating at a deficit, this was both for my physical and mental health. So I’m up half a pound but I know what that’s from (monthly lady bloat).

I finally got myself together and started my YouTube channel!
I’ve planned on doing this since before I started the blog and I’m so excited that it’s finally up and running. I plan on creating content that both supplements the blog and that can stand on its own.
The hardest part was getting over hearing the sound of my own voice in a recording…why didn’t anyone tell me I sounded like that?!??!
Posted my first grocery haul last night, I filmed it about 2 weeks ago on my cell phone but it’s a larger than normal haul with some really good items so I didn’t want to waste the footage. Fun built in game, how many times did I say protein? Hah, didn’t even realize I was saying it that much.
